A soft Monday after a cooler, slightly rainy weekend! Isn’t it easy to forget that it’s January? But perfect days for getting outside and exploring San Felipe, whether it’s the town, the desert, the beach, or taking a road trip to Puertecitos, Ensenada or Mexicali.  It’s a great time to get out for a beach jog if you’re training for Club de Pesca’s first Punta Estrella-and-back 27 km beach run (or walk). Get down to the beach during low tide and you might be able to take a peek around the tide pools and find some of these guys:

A Shattered Sand Dollar...

Don’t see those a lot on the town beaches…

Anemone in the Tide Pools

These little guys hang out in the lower tide pools where they will always be in water…be careful, if you scare them, they will close themselves and hide.

Abundance of Snails

And some desert Ants... busy at work!

Hope everyone had a great, relaxing weekend!  Any thoughts or questions, please leave a comment below!
