The past weekends’ Semana Santa festivities have come to a close, and the crowds have headed home. This year’s Semana Santa was a success; busy, bustling town and everyone stayed safe and had fun.
The town did a lot of work to make sure this was a great Semana Santa. The beaches were prepared and sand pushed up before the crowds arrived:

Security cameras were also installed on top of the Beachcomber to keep an eye on the Malecon.
The crowds started to arrive already on Wednesday…

Police were out in full force making sure that everyone was abiding by the rules and driving safely.
On Sunday the crowds started to head home after a weekend of sunny fun in San Felipe. Now our small town is back to being peaceful and quiet…
