Saturday, July 20, 2013 – A Drive Down the Malecon

Posted by on July 20, 2013

Whenever I’m in town, it’s always nice to take a turn around the Malecon. Even if you don’t get out of your vehicle, it’s nice to see how busy things are, who’s out and about, take in the beach-goers, the people relaxing in restaurants and the overall flavor of the Malecon. You may even be tempted to stop the car, get out and become part of the enjoyable atmosphere yourself!

Would mangos in a wheelbarrow be mangos "รก la carte"?

You might catch a glimse of an event going on at the middle of the Malecon, like this children's celebration!

Pausing the car for pedestrians to cross the Malecon, heading back from the beach!

A drive around the Malecon can be a great little taste of downtown San Felipe. How often do you head down to the Malecon? If you have the choice, do you meander down San Felipe’s main road, or avoid the slower pace of this downtown street? What’s your favorite destination on the Malecon?
